In the center of Lafayette Louisiana is the campus of the second largest college in the state of Louisiana.

To some of us....that are over 50......all right, over 60, it will always be the University of Southwest Louisiana (USL). A few years ago, the name was changed to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Back many years ago, the main highway through the area - US 90 - passed right in front of this building. Now the town has grown, the highway moved, but the college is still here.

The computer science division has been on the cutting edge of technology for many years.
