October 06 - Fearless Fox

I live in the middle of a fairly large urban area.
Look who decided to take a nap on the lawn,
in the middle of the day, right out in the open.
He slept there for maybe three hours!

Wow, this is awesome, he is waiting for the hens to show. Beautiful creature but deadly. Excellent shot. Love it!

It is so wonderful, too, that you let it sleep there. People I know would have been calling the police or shooing it away. What a treat for you.

This is so wonderful. What a great shot, so sharp and colorful. I can almost pet its fur. Beautiful creature.

Oh my!!! what a wonderful photo op! It looks so comfy! Guess you don't have any critters in your neighborhood to disturb it! or maybe it ate them already? ;) Beautiful shot, Neal!!

We got them around here, but they don't look as healthy, soft and fluffy as this guy. What luck, what a great find, he's a beauty.

What a rare opportunity to get such a nice shot. I wonder if he was well - sometimes when they are sick they behave unusual.

What a find! Great shot of nature asleep Neal! We have a pair around here but have only seen them once on the top of the bluff, although friends have said they had seen them in our yard!

I live in the countryside and I've never got that close to a fox although I guess urban foxes may have lost some of their fear of humans. Very cute shot of this one having a nap. V
