Oct 4 - Box of Nuts

Nuts! I missed the light tonight so opted for a still life. These fresh, wild walnuts were found during a walk at the weekend and rescued from the sheep, who admittedly were paying them no attention but might have fancied a nibble.

(I accidentally left the ISO a little high.)

Very nice in black and white. The textures show up well.

Lovely crinkly detail in these nuts, in this case I think the noise created by the ISO adds to the image.
