I just love that smirky smile on Rick Perry as if he has Jesus in his back pocket. Also, Before you die, die, die, die. you see, see, see. This says it all for me. I guess I'm just a little cynical. You guess?--skunk
Haven't most of the atrocities over the eons been in the name of one religion or another? Not one of them seems able to leave it alone - and mostly it is to generate fear and control - and some cash, IMHO -
I know I am cynical - but then . . .

How about the gangland style killings between the Saintly protected drug cartel rings in Mexico? My way or the highway rope of the KKK Godhead lynching's of the south; or lynchings around the world in the name of God like in the Arabic Nations. And we are supposed to convince folks that we are a justly modern civilization? G W Bush admitted that Christianity was part of his foreign policy and look where that has gotten US!

It's that whole "rings" thing about the onion. No matter how you slice, "layer within layers," the thing...it~it makes you cry just like my mistress miss Photoshop.
Any religious connection between the early Egyptian view of the Onion is denied by me and stealing everything off the web for purposes of Parody is Fair Use, ie,

OK - send that explanation to me too - I can't relate much to religion - being that I don't go there. I know that is a problem for me with Rick Perry - mixing it up with government - but I want a new gov. I think I am missing the meaning of the rings?? Maybe??
I know - I'll do a search on-line - for Lord of the Rings. See ya later.

Glad to see you, T. I thought you had jumped ship.
This is a great display of what a lot of us want to say but lack your ability to say it. And it's a really good composition--static lines volatile content, somber palette. Keep those cards and letters coming!
(and thanks for recognizing the role of my puma.)
