Dragonfly flies away

Knightshayes, Bolham, Tiverton, Devon

We had a lovely afternoon yesterday, visiting Knightshayes ~ superb National Trust property near Tiverton. There were several very skittish dragonflies skimming the pond and, after a patient 20 minutes of trying, I finally got one!

Yes it's not easy, but your perseverance paid you handsomely, terrific catch Chris. Yes my first reaction was the same as Lillian, a hovering helicopter looking for a landing spot. V.
