I hadn't been out in about a week and I was having withdrawal symptoms. I decided to go out for a couple of hours since I had the day off. I was a bit nervous going solo, but the guys at the marina took great care of me and helped me push off and tie up upon my return. It was a very nice day. The water was a little low, although it was supposed to be high tide (this made me VERY nervous), but the water was calm and there were few boaters out. I went out to our usual spot at Anclote Key with plans to have a snack and read for a bit. When I got there and turned off the motor, there were a ton of lovebugs landing on the boat. Ewwwwww! I HATE bugs. So I turned around and came back in. It was nice just to get out there.
