This is the blue Austin Westminster car that the Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc used to drive to his self-immolation that he performed outside the Cambodian Embassy in the street in Saigon on 11th June 1963.
He was protesting against the Roman Catholic persecution of Buddhists.
You can just see a photo of the tragic incident in the windscreen of the car.
