This is 1 of 14 laughing madmen officially called "A-maze-ing Laughter" by the Chinese artist Yue Minjun.
They depict Miniun's own iconic laughing image with gaping grins and closed eyes in a state of hysterical laughter".
There is a plaque which says, "The laughter appears to be convulsive, intense, and manic, but also insincere and forced".
Made in China, these cast bronze statues are part of the Vancouver International Sculpture Biennale (2009-2011).
