Not like this great aged stuff. This was a gift, and had to be taken before the log was cut up for lumber. But it was the wrong time of year and one of the hottest days of the year. Bark was very very wet and pitchy, and the harvester had no time or opportunity to debark it on the spot or even within that day. Then it was stored with the bark on and became rotten and wormy.
