Lake Wendoree,Ballarat

Over the last few years,this lake had become a dry wasteland, but thanks to good rains this year it is full again. They are currently removing all the debris from the lake and restoring it to its former glory as a popular place for birds and tourists to visit.

I'm happy to see the lake filled again, although it takes time before the wildlife settles back in. Great idea for transition.

Australia does go through some very bad dry seasons. And also many floods too. It must be exciting to your lakes full again...
