Spotted lady beetle (Coleomegilla maculata)

Another of our little native lady beetles, eating the contents of an insect or arachnid case on the underside of a milkweed leaf.

What a neat photo Christine. I love these photos which show something of the life of the insect involved. The texture of the spider sac closeup provides such a great background to the Beetle.
