The Victoria Government Parliament Buildings are located on Vancouver Island in the Province of British Columbia, Canada. They proudly face the inner harbor.
During the night time hours these buildings light up the skyline with over 3,300 light bulbs casting a magical spell over the community of Victoria, BC.
These Parliament Buildings were constructed in 1893 in honor of celebrating Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee by a young 25 year old architect named Francis Rattenbury. They were finally completed in 1915.
Daily visitor tours are offered free of charge during the summer months.
We took the tour and I highly recommend that you do the same the next time you're in Victoria! :)
