Polaroid SX70. Polaroid Time Zero film, expired 2004.

Polaroid Time Zero film which was made for the SX70 was phased out in 2006. The "newer" expired film can produce "normal" vividly colored photos or ones like this with flames and muted colors. This version is more desirable with Polaroid shooters.

The transition is chemical. New film and chemicals = "normal" photo. Old chemicals = weird effects.

For the September challenge - Transitions. Other transitions can be seen here.

It has us all guessing, but I hope the rains came along and put out the fires.

Cool effect on this expired film. I'm afraid I used up my last Polaroid film years ago. Wish I still had some.
