Lovely village scene, I love how our villages are clustered together it encourages you to get to know the neighbours.

Great shot of the village, the comments from overseas are interesting we get so used to our village buildings being clustered together

Excellent wide view! I'm curious too - why are the buildings all bunched together?

Is this a ball field in front of the housing village? I'm just curious as I see rows of cars parked on the grass.
Gorgeous sky! :)

I was thinking a similar thing to Yvonne; it's almost as if the buildings are huddled together for warmth. Which may not be too far from the truth. Clearly this shot shows a pleasant day but with such open plains all around I can imagine that being a very windswept place from time to time in winter. You wouldn't want to be walking long distances from one building to another without shelter.

What a beautiful view from there...and a lovely sky! It always amazes me to see how close the buildings are built when there's all that space! v
