Stargazer lilies got their name because their big, beautiful blooms are turned up as though they are gazing at the night sky. Once it develops to full size, which can take several years, the lily can reach as high 5 feet tall and a stem typically produces four or five blooms. CAUTION: Stargazer lilies are highly toxic to cats. If eaten, cats can experience vomiting, lethargy, kidney failure, and possible death. ~ gardenguides.com
