That's a neat shot. We parked very near to this spot back when we toured with our daughter about 10 years ago. We had just drove through Fresno where it was 115 degrees and we were shocked when we got out of the car here!! Cold wind off the bay, a seedy shell game being played, a guy behind a bush scaring people for handouts..... a real change from backpacking in Sequoia!
