We bought wet suits for our trip to the Galapagos Islands. The water temperature there is supposed to be in the upper 60s and we expect to do a lot of snorkeling so wet suits are a must. In Seaside, just 10 miles south of here, there is a nice surf shop (Cleanline Surf Shop) which has a very wide selection of suits. They also have very knowledgeable staff. We made a couple trips there to check things out and gather information. Interestingly, the wet suits we got weigh only 2.5 pounds which is important since we are limited to the weight of baggage we can carry. So, here is Ginny trying on her suit.
