“Standing amidst the green pastures,
The body of silken lusture,
Away from the worldly 'features',
What a wonder has created nature.”
(Sonnet Mondal)
When I drive backcountry roads I almost always have my camera on my lap, ready to pick it up and shoot if something interesting should come along quickly. My camera is big and heavy, and I often ask myself if it wouldn’t be better to put the camera down and be more comfortable. Every once in a while something as beautiful as this deer tells me to keep on doing what I’m doing.
