This girl came up on the porch to get into the food freezer.
What amazing noses bears have!!! It's a wonder she didn't try to join us inside for dinner.
After 5 minutes of playing a game of "Keystone Cops", I eventually was able to get this photo.
Later & about a mile from the lodge, I saw this pretty bear again that same night. A DSLR & the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 handled the low lighting far better.
But still, I'm not disappointed in my FZ35 for capturing Memory Shots. If I hadn't taken the little Bridge Camera to dinner, this photo would not have been possible.
For this photo, I was undoubtedly asking the little fixed lens camera to do too much.
The lighting was fading into dusk and thus was very difficult.
I had to shoot at iso 1250; which is far too high for this kind of sensor.
My camera speed also was not as high as it should have been.
However, the FZ35 was all I had at dinner when this girl was spotted on the back porch.
Considering all, the little Pany actually did a better job than I would have expected.
This is a "Memory Shot".
