Weekly Challenge #68 - Hometown Landmark

Murrays Bay, Auckland, NZ

I live at Murrays Bay, in the East Coast Bays of the North Shore of Auckland, North Island, New Zealand.
(Wow, that's a real mouthful)
There are about 24 beaches on the North Shore and on 6 kms on either side of where I live there are 9 beaches.
So the wharf at Murrays Bay is a very well known landmark, because it is the only wharf around here.

Canon EOS 50D ,Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM

Lovely choice for the topic. The reflections of the piers are well presented.

I love the angle, making this a very well composed and interesting shot. Because I am such a lover of Monochrome, this would make a much better Mono than a colour. BUT that is only my opinion.

Nice view. Looks like the tide has gone out. Great sky and horizon!

Very nice perspective. Unusual and interesting with the stairway at the end of the pier.
