Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Ogden Point

Tonight was our last night for this little two week trip north. We never fully plan out our trips and leave the ultimate destinations to serendipity. Victoria is one very beautiful city and we thoroughly enjoy coming. This image was totally as a result of picking a place to share a bottle of champaign and watch the final sunset of this journey. Setting up the big lens and later seeing what might be available resulted in this simple and exciting shot of people walking the long jetty at Ogden Point.

I have many more images of this trip to post, but this will always be a memorable image for me of our final night together on this memorable trip.

Yes! This is one of those photos that fits into the rare or unique category for me. Nicely seen and captured... and the champagne seems like a fitting toast to a fine trip. I guess it's back to the office on Monday, eh? :-)

Great use of that great lens! Excellent minimalistic picture and fine use of/work with light!
