M8 in B&W

Frostbite Falls

The colour version was converted to B&W and processed to bring out the nebulae and dark lanes. Interesting comparison to the colour version.

Messier 8 floats like a ghost in the night, but the richness of the surrounding area draws your attention away. Such a magical place in the Milky Way. Converting E200 to black and white might be the best method in the absence of the red sensitive hypered Tech-Pan. Superior work Igor. Very well done.
