The Yörgüç Paşa Camii was built in 1428, on initiative of Yörgüç Paşa, a Beylerbeyi (= ‘Leader of leaders’, this means: regional governor) and vizier of sultan Murat II. It was restored in 1976.
On the picture: The domed ceiling of the entrance hall, decorated with paintwork (called ‘kalem işi’ = work of the pen/paintbrush) in Classical Ottoman style.
