The forensic sciences that we are so familiar with from television shows were born
from the ancient art of reading sign. The first naturalists were primitive hunters
and gatherers. Their ability to read sign often meant the difference between life
and death. This talk takes the audience back to those roots and the roots of today's
science of criminal forensics.
