Bowl-and-doily weaver (Frontinella), side view

The bowl-and-doily weavers are often beautifully patterned spiders. They are very small, 3-4mm in body length, and usually hang upside down in their elaborate web which looks like a bowl with a doily over it! They are also called 'sheetweb weavers'.
