On the way we pass through a place called Tullbach,
where a Dutch festival is taking place. Music,
straw bales, dancing, drinking, Dutch delicacies
such as “kroketten” and “poffertjes” (ask for them
the next time you’re in Holland if you want to
know what they are – ed) and delicious wines.
Straight away we are photographed and give an
interview for the local paper.
“Have you come all this way from Holland on this old banger?”
“No we have just come from Cape Town in the last two weeks”
“Ooooooh?!”
“But we may be riding all the way back to Holland……………”
