Built by the Commercial Truck Company in Philadelphia, the body was
built by Himmelbverger Carriage Works of West Reading. Originally serving
as a truck, the bus body was used to transport farm workers during WWII gas
rationing. The batteries were carried under the chassis, between the wheels.
