20110622 - Cloudy on Top of the World

A Long Way Up
view map

The bike was due its 1-month service today, so it was up some hills to Richmond. Then I had a coffee and cake, walked to Easby Abbey then decided to cycle to Reeth - where I had a bacon, brie and cranberry panini with a gallon of J20. After that it was up and over yet more hills back to Leyburn and home. This was taken from the top of the world, or at least it felt like it! 40 miles - 38 of 'em uphill I'm sure!

That's a bike ride - Sounds like you might need a 1 month service too! Great moody and powerful looking skyscape and effective in B&W.

I'm doubly impressed with the cycling stamina and the ability to hold a camera still after all that effort. I would have stopped at the coffee and cake stage :0)
