19th - Freewheelin'

Cheltenham, Glos.

Inspired by Phil N's marathon cycle odysseys around England (I expect he'll just turn up unannounced down here one evening...) I dug out the old bike this afternoon. Unfortunately, I think it needs a bit of work before I can go speeding along the highways and byways of the Cotswolds...damn, what a shame, what a pity etc etc, I was looking forward to a bit of exercise tonight (cough!)

LOL! Love your commentary. Good image but I think this baby needs some TLC. :)

LOL...Yeah it looks in such disrepair that it is not worth the effort to restore it. I know how tough that is on you. A terrific photo by the way. V

Never mind! It makes a great image of a rusty bike. Well done.

Looks like the bike needs exercise as well. Ditto on the WD40. Really nicely shot from this angle.

Heehee - I was thinking just the same as JJ re: WD40!

That's just excuses, there's nothing but a bit of dust, a few cob webs, some rust, maybe a bit of metal fatigue :0) get peddling and don't be a whimp!

Very nice image of your well used cycle, good luck with the sprucing up and using it for work.

Hahaha, nice relic there Doug! You better clean it up before your sprockets start to look like that! ;-) Nice photo too!
