He's Baaaaack!

Tucson, AZ

A male Desert Spiny lizard we've named "Feisty" has returned after a 3 year
absence. He's was probably always around but very skittish, making us think
it was a different lizard. We've been feeding him and his mate this past week
and both are now easily hand fed. Pretty cool considering these are non-captive.
This a shot of Feisty scoping out my wife's toes as a potential meal. Fortunately
the image above was taken after we got done feeding him a dinner of meal worms.

Great close up and so funny with your wife's toes in the background. That's pretty cool that you get to interact with them. Plus, bonus, I bet they help keep down any insects that might make it inside.
