Just a few months before being scrapped, this MiG-21Bis-SAU (Sistema Avtomaticheskovo Upravleniya = Automatic Control System) 'Fishbed-N' 24 45 (ex '920'/JG8/dd. July 1976) still looks healthy at the former flightline of Drewitz with 1,699 flying hours. This is one of many MiG-21's that was scrapped within a few years after the re-unification of Germany.
