It was a glorious day at the airport. After tons of work, we finished the annual on the Cherokee and flew it around for the first time in about eight years. Our friend Rodney owns the airplane. He did a lot of the work on it. He is an A&P as well as a pilot. After a slight power to the starter SNAFU, Bloke took the airplane and headed out for a test hop around the airport. Here he is departing the runway. A little later Bloke and Rodney had another flight. The next objective is to get the Swift airworthy. That will have to wait until October when Ginny and I return from the summer in Oregon and a month long sojourn to South America including two weeks in the Galapagos Islands. Life is good!!
