Hula Girl

Escondido, CA

Love this hula girl, watching over this great oldie. In PS, this is candy apple red, but on
pbase, it's looking pretty drab to me. I pumped the color up to the max, especially red. Help!
Any suggestions for getting bright reds to show up? I did use sRGB this time, which is supposed to help.

PS: The downsized versions (small, medium, gallery thumbnail) look indeed drab orange. That seems to be a problem with Pbase image resizing. I always upload images that are no larger than 720 pixel maximum dimension. That way, Pbase doesn't downsize from "original" to "large". You already seem to be doing the same.

It's not looking drab to me on my Mac laptop. Try a few different browser. Not all manage color the same.

Its drab on my laptop but not on my desktop. Thinking it is your monitor. I love this shot!

The light was very harsh at the car show, so I think this came out very well especially after PBase converts the colors. What exactly they do, I don't know, but this has been the topic of discussion in the Q&A forum for some time.
