"The land. That's what brought us pioneering spirits to this area: the land and the abundance of it. I loved farming and planting.
Mary Jane and I were fortunate to have seven sons.
Everyone of those boys contributed back to their communities in some ways.
I joined up with the 1911 Mesquite Trade Excursion. I guess we were the pioneers of today's Mesquite Chamber of Commerce.
We Jobson's did our best to make sure Mesquite progressed, whether it was in farming, banking or in government.
I hope we are remembered for that."
