612TFS started as 612BS with B-17's in WW2. 612TFS saw action in Vietnam and became operational at Torrejon AFB, near Madrid, until 1991. F-16A 82-1025/TJ flew with this unit, before being replaced by F-16C's. This particular F-16A was first noted wfu at AMARG in May 2001. During the late-1980's several 'TJ' F-16's were seen in The Netherlands, as their updates took place with Fokker at Woensdrecht.
