Finally! My first glimpse of the Taj Mahal as seen from the archway of the main inside gate. There is a center marker on the floor of this archway. When you stand on it you realize that the tip of the archway is perfectly aligned to the tip of the main dome of the Taj Mahal. This was done hundreds of years ago without the benefit of modern surveying equipment!
