Remembering PBaser Ronnie Gaubert

Louisiana

Ronnie passed away today after months of suffering with Lou Gehrig's Disease. An avid nature photographer, he was always willing to help other photographers. Ronnie is from southeast Louisiana.
His work can be seen under the name ronnie_14187.

Ronnie would be proud of this tribute. Never had the opportunity to meet him, but exchanged mails and comments frequently. So sorry to hear about his passing

I am so sad to hear this, I loved watching Ronnie's exquisite photos of Louisiana wildlife. Sorry to hear he's gone. Wonderful tribute to your Pbase friend, Coleen.

I heard of Ronnie's death about 1.5 hours after he passed. I just read every saved pBase message he sent to me over the past several years . . . . a Great Guy and Wonderful Photographer always looking to help out those in need and in quest of improving our photos. It's hard to believe he is gone! But he'll always be remembered by his fantastic works of art.
Very sad you had to go so quickly . . . Rest in Peace.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about Ronnie. I loved his photography so much. A gorgeous image dedicated to him. I lost two friends in the last two days and now this. I'm sad.
