journey's end

28 years of continuous upgrades are finally over.....until they come out with the next one!

The choice was that tone arm and cartridge or a black paint Leica MP with a 35mm f/1.4 aspheric. I must be nuts.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Cool a turntable, soon I must open a carton and restart the trip in my old collection of LP.

You are not alone. There are those that think 33 1/3 was and is the greatest ever.

Worth it for the discerning ear...Leica would be tempting though :-) Great light here!

You're nuts ...but I am too. LOL
I'd go for the MP with the 35mm,Mr. B

excellent shot...it's important to be able to play recordings in that venerable format...vinyl sound trumps that of CDs, being much richer and warmer..

Perfect DOF! Perfect classic composition!!
I also still listen to Vinyl music most of the time...

Agree with LeeG .

I go to listen and to admire my turntable .

Yes, it is easier to give up vinyl than film, but not an easy decision to make. Great shot, V

Fantastic shot! V!

I'd have made the same choice. My ears are not interested in big f-stops, they just want to wallow in a room full of tasty notes...
Vinyl wins, by 331/3.
