thanks Brenda,, you know there is only one egret in this park which has 3 ponds. which I have notice over the past several years.. I do not know anything about egrets,, but I keep wondering, it looks so solitary,, but they must reproduce, so maybe, that is done in seperate areas of the globe than New Jersey,,

How lovely! You were able to get a great shot of this elegant bird. We're seeing more of these egrets up in Nova Scotia now, so perhaps their range is expanding.
