Our third full day in the backcountry was spent descending Ringtail Canyon, a very narrow slot with a very different character than Neon and Choprock Canyons. Ringtail is shorter, tighter, and darker. Brad and I spent maybe three hours in Ringtail, then headed back to our basecamp. We packed everything up later in the day, and hiked back to Egypt Trailhead in late afternoon.
