Today's the day !!

A Very exciting day, the Royal Wedding of our Prince William and his Bride Kate.
30 years ago, I went up to London, and slept out on the pavement the night before Charles and Diana's wedding. I can just say that the atmosphere was something I will never forget, the colour, the pomp and pageantry and then the Bands playing and the Royal family arriving, I'm sure today will be just as great.

I like this 'zingy' take on our flag.
Enjoyed your reminiscence about the wedding of Charles and Diana all that time ago.
Now we know that the atmosphere, colour and ceremony have been just as wonderful, this time around.
The sight of the thousands of well-wishers, moving as one, down the Mall, with good humour and patience was very moving.

I know! Isn't it exciting? I remember seeing the wedding of Diana and Charles on TV when I was living in Dallas. :0)
