Huge tire on Saquish April, 2011

I could see that it had been underwater for quite some time as there were barnacles on both sides as can be seen in this photo. Perhaps it was just anchoring a mooring somwhere in the bay and came loose somehow to float around for awhile - but coming ashore in this protected area of the Bay seems a bit improbable!
