I came back a few days later when the tide was higher and the tire was still there - like a little island. Perhaps when we next get a high astronomical tide coupled with a storm to churn the waters it will wobble loose and start floating about again. For the time being, however, the Saquish marsh has a piece of contemporary art perhaps stimulating musing about whether there is some cosmic meaning in its visit!
