Reached via a steep climb up the interior of Am Phu cave, there are some new sculptures on the outer wall. A dragonfly was clinging to one, and very accommodatingly, stayed put. The sculpture looks distinctly phoney. There is some terrific marble at the Marble Mountains, but this particular piece is too contrived, with the colour matching the figure outline, a bit too neatly, especially compared with other sculptures I've seen. They do colour the marble in the workshops down at ground-level, so it makes sense that those displayed above could also be discreetly 'doctored'. The dragonfly was real, though.
