This morning was quite interesting. Some of the water taxis (launchas), run by Click-Click were stopped by the Tican Coast Guard and returned back to Tortuguero. Evidently, they were overcharging the Semana Santa (Holy week) visitors coming here. As a result, their boat was impounded and many visitors were stranded. They were happy that they are being held accountable, but no so thrilled that they are stuck here until tomorrow. They are working on getting another legit Taxi to get folks back to the Mainland for work tomorrow.
