This little budgie has taken up residence in our garden, and
she comes down to our bird feeder every day for seed. I know
she is female as she has a brown "cere", the coloured skin
above the beak. Males have a blue cere. I am not sure if she
has escaped from someone's aviary, but budgies are certainly
not native to the Adelaide Hills of South Australia.
