Cloudy skies denote cold front with a temperature drop from the mid 80's into the low 40's.
Rain fell this evening and all the next day with a total of 4 inches in Louisville, raising the
Ohio River to flood stage. With additional drainage from the surrounding hills the river
did not crest until three days later!
