homelessness isnt unknown in montana. how people end up this way and here is hard for me to figure. its so remote and yet, i guess it can happen anywhere. we live near the highway and see people with signs asking for help everyday. being from new jersey makes me, i am sorry to say, a little heartless. i saw it much more in nyc and nj. i just didnt expect to see it at all here.

ive even seen guys who look like grizzly adams walking along the major thoroughfares. with long grey beards and pans on their backpacks like they were panning for gold!

life is different here.
