We stumbled across this beautiful building (1870) quite by chance, when we mistakenly crossed the Rába River looking for the old part of town. It's quite sad because there seem to be many abandoned synagogues here, especially in the countryside, where the Jewish population of Hungary was pretty much wiped out by the Nazis.
