temperance is rather "vintage" these days as is this old stone we found today on a back road cemetary here is connecticut. there was no marker for the cemetary where grave stones were etched with dates going as far back as the early 1800's. that's a shadow of my hand pointing out the word "temperance" on the old tomb stone.
